We are pleased to announce the first edition of the 2026 MicroRate Excellence Awards, an initiative that recognizes institutions setting the standard for excellence in the inclusive finance sector.
These awards highlight independent evaluation as a key pillar for institutional strengthening, transparency, and building trust. Through this recognition, MicroRate highlights entities that operate under international standards, integrate best practices into their management, and maintain a sustained vision of continuous improvement, as well as those organizations that have established a track record based on the progressive strengthening of their capabilities.
In this context, the awards aim to highlight sector leaders who, through sound and responsible management, actively contribute to the development of a more robust, reliable, and inclusive financial ecosystem.
The awards ceremony will take place during the 12th Central American and Caribbean Microfinance Conference. We thank our strategic partner REDCAMIF—the Central American and Caribbean Microfinance Network—for providing this platform that allows us to highlight the institutions that are raising the sector’s standards in the region.
