On November 13 and 14,MicroRatetook part in the Forum Connect 2025, organized by REDCAMIF - Central American and Caribbean Microfinance Network and Locfund Next, a gathering that brought together sector leaders to address key topics such as responsible investment, inclusive digital innovation, and impact microfinance in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Our CEO,Mayumi Ogata, was part of this space, sharing reflections and engaging in dialogue with different financial institutions and networks about the advances and challenges of the sector, in an environment that fostered conversations about sustainability, digital transformation, and institutional strengthening.
Additionally, within the framework of the Forum, Mayumi held a meeting with Panamanian Microfinance Network (REDPAMIF), one of our strategic allies, where she gave a presentation to the network members on the importance of using financial indicators appropriately to promote greater transparency and consolidate a more solid and reliable institutional management.
The closing of the Forum Connect reaffirms the value of partnerships and the need to continue promoting responsible practices that strengthen the impact and stability of the inclusive financial sector in the region.
